We are pleased to announce that Recruitment Doctor has been selected by the DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) to provide Workshops throughout the country for Newly Unemployed Professionals.

To date we have carried out more than 10 Workshops, helping delegates come to terms with the changes they have had to face due to the economic down turn and how they can now approach their new career opportunities.

This has highlighted to us that there are highly qualified, motivated and competent candidates out there looking for the opportunity to work for organisations like yours.

Remember the news story about the paradise island caretaker - 'the best job in the world'?

The lucky applicant, would be located on Hamilton Island (Queensland's, Great Barrier Reef) for six months. They would be required to explore their surroundings reporting through a weekly blog for a sum of AU$150,000.

Well...over 34,000 people applied for the position from all over the globe. The applicants went through a stringent screening process from which 16 were chosen to travel out to the island for the rigorous selection process involving snorkeling, barbecues and time at a spa. 

Ben Southall (UK) was lucky enough to get the position and will spend the following six months on the island.
